Located on the beautiful island of Oahu on popular Waikiki Beach, the soft color palette and specific art choices celebrate the location and local culture. The Kapa prints that adorn the walls provide color and a sense of history while natural materials provide texture and interest.
Kapa cloth, or prints, are designs that are woven onto cloth created from fibers of the indigenous trees. Designs are created through the use of linear elements that form geometric shapes such as triangles, squares, chevrons and diagonal lines. When framed or blocked onto a piece of wood they make exquisite pieces of art.
