Timeline and Function

Introduced in 1994, Martin Pierce’s custom furniture pieces were available in very limited quantities and sold “to the trade only” via design professionals. The collections are no longer being made and the information here is given to complete the biographical timeline. The furniture designs and skills honed to make them have been carried forward and have evolved into collections of door hardware and art. The 2 pieces shown were designed as entry or lobby seating and were often customized to sit 4 to 6 people.
