No, not the Beatlemania of the 1960's. We are talking about the beetles that are part of the coleoptera family. It is no secret that Martin is fascinated by these creatures and many door and cabinet knobs, as well as bronze sculptures in the collection have been inspired by the beauty he finds in these bugs.
A few years ago we actually had a pair of Hercules beetles as pets that we affectionately called Natasha and Boris. While they are no longer with us, they did inspire Martin to create this amazing bronze sculpture.
